Sonic the Werehog is Sonic's transformed state from the 2008 game Sonic Unleashed, where exposure to Dark Gaia's energy causes Sonic to mutate into a muscular, stretchy-armed beast form during nighttime. This darker incarnation retains Sonic's heroic personality but gains enhanced strength and combat abilities, creating a striking contrast with his usual blue blur persona.
