About this figure
This bust figure from Kotobukiya captures Fujiki Gennosuke from the dark samurai manga and anime series Shigurui. Standing at approximately 80mm tall, the bust portrays the one-armed swordsman with the intense focus and composure that define his character throughout the story. Fujiki Gennosuke is the star pupil of the Kogan-style sword school in Kakegawa and is considered most likely to succeed as the school's master. Born the son of a farmer with no family name, Fujiki is a taciturn man who rarely speaks unless required, extending his discipline over both words and actions. Despite missing his left arm, he is among the most highly skilled swordsmen in the region. He is referred to as one of the three tigers, a dragon, and one of the three demons alongside Mie and Iraku. Though seemingly ruthless, he retains a compassionate side, particularly in his care for his master's daughter. Fujiki represents the epitome of a samurai who entrusts matters of good and evil to his lord and renounces self-interest, making this bust a fitting tribute to his unwavering character.
