Sentinel's RIOBOT line presents the Tsugumori from Knights of Sidonia (Sidonia no Kishi) at 1/144 scale, standing approximately 145mm tall. Made from ABS, PA, and PVC, the figure retailed at 9,333 JPY with product code 4571335880057. The Tsugumori is a Type-17 Garde mech produced by Toha Heavy Industries, originally piloted by ace pilot Hiroki Saitou during the 4th Gauna Defense War. After Hiroki's retirement, the unit was preserved at the SDF Academy as a symbol of inspiration for aspiring pilots. When Nagate Tanikaze emerged as its successor, Captain Kobayashi reinstated the Tsugumori for combat. Unlike the newer automated Type-18 units, the Tsugumori relies heavily on manual control, making it difficult to master but capable of surpassing newer models under a skilled pilot. The RIOBOT line is known for its premium diecast construction and exceptional articulation, faithfully capturing the Tsugumori's distinctive design.
