Sentinel's RIO:bone line presents Asakura Hao from the Shaman King manga and anime series. Asakura Hao is one of the most complex antagonists in Shaman King. Born as Asaha Doji during Japan's Heian period, he rose to prominence as an onmyoji and founded the Asakura Family. After failing to win the Shaman Fight of AD 1000 and threatening to destroy humanity to create a shaman empire, his own family killed him. Controlling his own reincarnation, Hao was reborn 500 years later in the Patch Tribe to steal the Spirit of Fire, one of the Five Grand Elemental Spirits. In his third life, he was reborn as the twin brother of Asakura Yoh, the series protagonist. Hao's descent into misanthropy was driven by his uncontrollable Reishi ability, which constantly flooded him with the negative emotions of others, and the unjust death of his mother. He ultimately wins the Shaman Fight of AD 2000 and becomes the Shaman King.
