Banpresto's Kyun-Chara line presents Shibata Katsuie from Sengoku Basara as part of the Ichiban Kuji Sengoku Sousei lottery. This chibi-style figure captures the Oda clan retainer in a compact, collectible format. Katsuie Shibata debuted as a playable character in Sengoku Basara 4. He serves as a low-rank vanguard under the Oda force, concealing a bowl haircut within his helmet. After a rebellion that ended in failure, the skilled warrior was left in a weakened position, seemingly giving up and living only to follow orders from his aloof master, Oda Nobunaga. On the battlefield, however, he transforms into a formidable fighter wielding a reverse-bladed naginata with extravagant techniques. In the story, he rebels against Nobunaga during the Honnoji Temple incident and later allies with Date Masamune, with Yoshiteru having convinced him to betray his master. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is constructed from ABS and PVC materials as part of Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji prize line.
