Koiland presents Taurus Aldebaran from the classic manga and anime series Saint Seiya, created by Masami Kurumada. This figure captures one of the twelve Gold Saints of Sanctuary, warriors who serve Athena and protect the world from evil forces. Aldebaran is the Gold Saint of the Taurus constellation and was physically the strongest of the Gold Saints in the modern era. Of Brazilian origin, he is notable for his humble and friendly personality, often depicted laughing and being less serious than his fellow Gold Saints during times of peace. He was a good friend of Aries Mu and Pegasus Seiya. During the Bronze Saints' invasion of the Sanctuary, Aldebaran chose to test rather than destroy them, believing that enemies fighting so hard must have beliefs worth respecting. According to Mu, he could have killed them all had he used his true power. He ultimately sacrificed himself alongside the other Gold Saints to destroy the Wailing Wall in the Hades Saga. Introduced in chapter 29 of the manga, Aldebaran's real name is said to be Tiago, the Brazilian and Portuguese equivalent of James. His popularity in Brazil is particularly notable as one of the few Brazilian characters in manga and anime.
