Bandai's Myth Cloth EX line presents Gemini Saga from Saint Seiya in the Legend of Sanctuary Edition. This release is based on the 2014 CG animated film that reimagines the classic Saint Seiya storyline with updated character designs and visual aesthetics. Saint Seiya follows warriors known as Saints who fight wearing sacred armor called Cloths, powered by their cosmic energy known as Cosmo. Gemini Saga is one of the twelve Gold Saints, the most powerful warriors serving the goddess Athena. In the original series, Saga is a complex antagonist who embodies both good and evil within a single character, having killed and impersonated the Pope of Sanctuary. The Legend of Sanctuary film retells the Sanctuary arc with a modernized approach, giving Saga and the other Gold Saints refreshed designs that translate their classic looks into a contemporary cinematic style. Standing approximately 180mm tall, the figure is constructed from ABS, die cast, and PVC materials. It was released at a retail price of 8,000 JPY, featuring the die-cast metal elements and interchangeable parts that the Myth Cloth EX line is renowned for.
