About this figure
This Banpresto figure features Dragon Shiryu from the classic series "Saint Seiya" as part of the Saint Seiya Super Cloth Series. Standing at approximately 160mm tall and made from ABS and PVC, the figure was released as a prize figure in Japan in 2014. Dragon Shiryu is one of the five Bronze Saints who serve the goddess Athena. As a child, he was sent to train at the Five Ancient Peaks of Lushan in China under the Gold Saint Dohko, where he mastered techniques powerful enough to reverse the flow of a waterfall. His Dragon Bronze Cloth is one of the most recognizable in the series, and his guardian dragon constellation manifests as a tattoo-like mark that appears when his Cosmo energy rises. Created by Masami Kurumada, Shiryu's character design was inspired by Shadow Jun from Kurumada's earlier work "Ring ni Kakero." The Super Cloth Series by Banpresto captures the character in his Bronze Cloth armor, offering collectors an affordable yet detailed representation of this beloved Saint Seiya character.
