Banpresto presents this figure of Matsuno Karamatsu from Osomatsu-san as part of the Matsu ni mo Ishou Vol.5 series, standing approximately 110mm tall. Karamatsu is the second-born of the Matsuno sextuplets in Osomatsu-san, the 2015 revival of the classic Osomatsu-kun series. His name derives from the Japanese word for larch tree, karamatsu. Originally characterized as carefree and happy-go-lucky, the Osomatsu-san iteration of Karamatsu is known for his flashy fashion sense, leather jacket, and painful attempts at being cool. He often speaks in dramatic, pseudo-poetic phrases that his brothers largely ignore, and his name also carries a pun on kara, meaning emptiness. This figure from Banpresto captures Karamatsu in one of his signature outfits. The Matsu ni mo Ishou line features the sextuplets in various costume designs, and Vol. 5 continues the theme of dressing the brothers in creative and character-appropriate attire.
