Culture Japan presents the Shirasawa Chitose Smart Doll, a 1/3 scale original character figure designed by Danny Choo. Chitose stands approximately 600mm tall and is crafted from POM and soft vinyl materials, with sculpting work led by Danny Choo himself. She was priced at 50,000 JPY upon release. Chitose Shirasawa is an original character illustrated by DMYO and has become one of the most popular figures in the Smart Doll lineup, frequently selling out before other characters. Danny Choo developed the Smart Doll line to cultivate a new market, with roughly 80% of customers being first-time doll owners. The character's sculpt went through numerous iterations during the 3D modeling, wax duplication, and final mold stages to achieve the desired quality. The figure comes with a character card and was designed with user-friendly apparel in mind, including corduroy pants that allow for easier dressing and posing compared to the original denim jeans. A lab coat accessory was also planned for release, fitting the SS bust size and including Chitose's signature hairclips.
