Sum-Art presents the ANDROID EL01 TORSO Ver.1, a 1/4 scale resin art statue created in collaboration with Japanese artist Prototype "K" and the Manas S+U+M workshop. This striking piece stands approximately 330mm tall and explores the aesthetic fusion of humanoid biology and machinery. Inspired by the robotic character "Ava" from the film Ex Machina, the Android EL01 series reflects Prototype "K"'s artistic vision of "life continuation" through the beautiful merging of the human form and mechanical elements. K, a former automotive designer turned prototyping artist, has garnered international attention for his work exploring the intersection of the human body and machinery. The Manas S+U+M workshop, established in 2013, has built a reputation for world-class collaborations with renowned artists and brands. The statue is hand-painted and individually crafted using high-quality resin, with the skin portions created using movie prop production techniques for a realistic texture. Each piece comes packaged in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity. The 1/4 scale makes this a substantial display piece for collectors of art figures and mechanical design.
