Sabo is a key character in the One Piece saga, introduced as the sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace. The three shared a childhood together in the Goa Kingdom before being separated by tragedy. After surviving an attack that nearly killed him, Sabo was taken in by the Revolutionary Army and eventually rose to become its chief of staff under Dragon.
