About this figure

Banpresto's One Piece Dramatic Showcase 8th Season Vol. 2 features Dr. Hiriluk, one of the most emotionally significant characters in the Drum Island arc. This figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from PVC and ABS materials. Dr. Hiriluk is the quack doctor who took in a young reindeer named Tony Tony Chopper, becoming his father figure and mentor. Despite being rejected by the people of Drum Island for his unorthodox medical practices, Hiriluk believed that no disease is incurable and dedicated his life to his dream of creating a universal panacea. His defining moment comes when he willingly consumes a poisonous mushroom — mistakenly gathered by Chopper, who believed it was a cure — and walks into the mountains to die on his own terms rather than let Chopper's well-intentioned mistake go to waste. The 8th Season of the Dramatic Showcase line specifically represents the scene where Chopper finds what he believes is the cure for Dr. Hiriluk, making this one of the most poignant moments captured in figure form. Released on November 23, 2016, this figure is part of Banpresto's Dramatic Showcase series, which recreates iconic scenes from across the One Piece saga.
