Wave brings Mukaido Manaka from the anime series Nagi no Asukara to life as part of their Beach Queens Premium line. This 1/10 scale swimsuit version figure captures the character in a beach-ready pose, standing approximately 155mm tall. The figure was released as a limited sale item through Wave's directly managed mail order store "BJ." Nagi no Asukara is set in a world where humans once lived underwater, and Manaka Mukaido is one of the young sea-dwelling characters whose lives become intertwined with surface dwellers as their underwater village faces environmental changes. The series explores themes of change, identity, and the complex emotions of adolescence against a backdrop of a society divided between sea and land. This premium polystone painted finished product features prototype sculpting by ehenmushi. The figure includes a ball joint connection at the base of the neck, allowing for adjustable head positioning and richer facial expressions. It was released in February 2015 with product code NF-338.
