Medicom Toy presents Ginko from the anime series Mushi-shi as part of their Real Action Heroes line, numbered 308. The figure stands approximately 300mm tall and was sculpted by Sawada Keisuke and Akimoto Mieko, with a retail price of 16,800 JPY. Mushi-shi follows the travels of Ginko, a wandering researcher who studies Mushi — primitive, ethereal life forms that exist between the natural and supernatural worlds. Unlike most people, Ginko can perceive these organisms, which often cause strange phenomena that humans misunderstand as illness or supernatural events. Rather than eliminating Mushi, Ginko seeks to understand them and find ways for humans and Mushi to coexist, helping villagers resolve conflicts between the two realms. As a Real Action Heroes release, the figure features cloth clothing and a high level of articulation characteristic of Medicom's 1/6 scale figure line.
