This piece blends gaming culture with a centuries-old craft tradition. Minoto serves as the Hub Quest maiden of Kamura Village in Monster Hunter Rise, where she assists hunters by managing Gathering Hub quests. She is the twin sister of Hinoa, the Village Quest maiden, and both play integral roles in the village's defense against the Rampage, a catastrophic phenomenon where monsters attack in coordinated waves. The game draws heavily from Japanese aesthetic and cultural traditions, making the kokeshi format a fitting tribute to its inspirations. The doll stands approximately 50mm tall. Traditional kokeshi are handcrafted from woods such as Mizuki (Giant Dogwood) for the head and chestnut wood for the body, hand-painted and finished with lacquer, representing a distinctive form of Japanese artisanal craftsmanship.
