About this figure
Kami-Arts presents this 1/6 scale premium resin figure of Joe from the anime Megalo Box. Sculpted by Giacinto Platania with concept art by Alfredo Caccamo and art direction by Mattheï Maes and Édouard Velay, the figure stands approximately 270mm tall and is crafted from polyurethane resin. Joe, formerly known as Junk Dog, is the main protagonist of Megalo Box, an anime that serves as a 50th anniversary tribute to the classic boxing manga Ashita no Joe. Joe makes a living throwing underground fixed matches with his manager Gansaku Nanbu before setting his sights on the Megalonia tournament. After encountering the reigning champion Yuri, Joe enters the competition fighting under Team Nowhere. The series features a gritty, futuristic setting where boxers compete using exoskeletons called Gear, and Joe famously fights gearless against his equipped opponents. With dimensions of 40 x 34 x 27 cm and an estimated delivery in Q1 2021, this premium resin statue captures the raw determination and scarred physique that define Joe's character.
