Mazinger Z is the pioneering super robot created by Go Nagai, first appearing in 1972 and widely credited with establishing the piloted super robot genre. Piloted by Kouji Kabuto, Mazinger Z defends Earth against the mechanical monsters unleashed by the evil Dr. Hell. The robot's signature weapons, including the Rocket Punch and Breast Fire, became archetypes that influenced countless mecha series that followed. Mazinger Z's cultural impact on the mecha genre cannot be overstated, serving as the foundation for franchises like Getter Robo and Grendizer, both of which are also featured in Figurama's Super Robot Elite Bust Collection. This limited edition bust is crafted from polystone and PU materials, ensuring a premium feel and fine surface detail. The creative direction was led by Mr. Shanab and the Figurama Collectors Development Team, with concept art by Daniel Kamarudin and 3D sculpting by Luigi Terzi.
