Mahou no Tenshi Creamy Mami, or Creamy Mami the Magic Angel, is a classic magical girl anime from Studio Pierrot that originally aired in 1983. The series follows ten-year-old Yuu Morisawa, who gains the ability to transform into the teenage idol singer Creamy Mami through the power of magical creatures from the Feather Star. Nega is one of the magical beings associated with the series' fantasy elements, alongside companion character Poji. The anime was instrumental in establishing many tropes of the magical girl genre and helped define Studio Pierrot's identity in the 1980s.
