Initially shy and self-conscious, Riko grows into a more confident performer through her friendships with Aqours members, particularly her close bond with group leader Chika Takami. The Aozora Jumping Heart outfit is the vibrant costume worn during the first season's opening theme, symbolizing the group's energetic debut.
