Banpresto's Kyun-Chara figure line presents Kunikida Hanamaru from Love Live! Sunshine!! as part of the fifth Ichiban Kuji lottery series. This chibi-style figure captures the beloved school idol in her signature look. Hanamaru is a first-year student at Uranohoshi Girls' High School raised by her grandparents at a family temple. Known for her distinctive verbal tic ending sentences with "zura" and her fascination with modern technology, she often exclaims "Mirai zura!" when encountering devices like computers. Despite calling herself a "chibi procrastinator," Hanamaru is intelligent and well-read. She is best friends with Ruby Kurosawa and a member of the AZALEA sub-unit within Aqours. Initially hesitant about becoming a school idol due to self-doubt about her appearance, she was inspired by the story of Rin Hoshizora from µ's and ultimately joined Aqours to support Ruby. The figure stands approximately 100mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC materials. As an Ichiban Kuji prize item, it was available exclusively through Bandai Spirits' lottery system in Japan.
