Bandai's S.H.Figuarts line brings Ptera Ranger from the Super Sentai series Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger to collectors as a highly articulated action figure. Released in 2013, this figure represents one of the five heroes from the 1992 tokusatsu series that later became the basis for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in Western markets. Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger follows five warriors resurrected from ancient times to defend Earth against the witch Bandora and her monstrous forces. Ptera Ranger, the sole female member of the team, pilots the Pteradactyl Dinozord and brings aerial combat capabilities to the group. The S.H.Figuarts release comes equipped with her Ranger Slinger, Ranger Stick, Ptera Bow & Arrow, and three additional sets of interchangeable hands for a variety of display options. Standing approximately 145 millimeters tall, the figure is constructed from ABS and PVC. It was released at a price of 3,675 JPY, continuing Bandai's tradition of detailed Super Sentai collectibles.
