This 1/7 scale figure of Major Motoko Kusanagi is produced by Alter as part of their Vice lineup, based on her appearance in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG. The figure is sculpted in PVC and stands approximately 220mm tall. In the Stand Alone Complex continuity, Motoko Kusanagi is an advanced full-body cyborg and the field leader of Public Security Section 9, a covert unit assembled by Daisuke Aramaki. Known simply as "The Major," she is a confident, calculating professional whose rage is something to behold when provoked. Her childhood memories were damaged during her cyberization procedure, and she guards her true identity closely — even the name Motoko Kusanagi is a pseudonym assigned to her. In 2nd GIG, she and Section 9 confront the Individual Eleven, a complex case that intertwines political conspiracy with questions of individuality and identity in a highly networked society. The figure was sculpted by Takahashi Tsuyoshi, based on original character designs by Masamune Shirow. It was originally priced at 5,800 JPY.
