Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade is the true name of the vampire Shinobu Oshino, one of the most significant characters in the Monogatari franchise. Kizumonogatari tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi Araragi first encountered Kiss-shot, a powerful vampire who had lost her limbs and was on the verge of death. After Araragi sacrifices himself to save her, she turns him into a vampire, setting in motion the events that define their complex relationship throughout the series. Kiss-shot is one of the oldest and most powerful vampires in existence, and her bond with Araragi forms the emotional core of the story.
