Suguru Kinniku, better known as Kinnikuman, is the prince and later king of Planet Kinniku. He is a two-time winner of the Chojin Olympics and the father of Mantaro Kinniku. Suguru begins the series as a lazy and emotional man who wishes to become famous, often chasing after women and moving from job to job. It is at the Chojin Olympics where he finds his true purpose as a chojin wrestler. Over time, he develops a more serious personality and forms close friendships with the Justice Chojin. By the end of the series, Kinnikuman is crowned king of Planet Kinniku, and in the reboot he returns to Earth to help defeat new evil forces.
