Aoi is a survivor of the Final Selection who became a helper at the Butterfly Mansion rather than an active Demon Slayer, tending to injured corps members and assisting Shinobu Kocho. Despite her self-doubt about her combat abilities, Aoi plays a vital supporting role in the Demon Slayer Corps' fight against demons.
