Bandai's Metal Build release of Heine Westenfluss' ZGMF-X42S-REVOLUTION Destiny Gundam brings a premium die-cast interpretation of one of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny's most iconic mobile suits. This version is associated with Heine Westenfluss, a ZAFT ace pilot and member of Chairman Gilbert Durandal's elite FAITH detachment, giving the Destiny Gundam a distinct personal color scheme. The ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam was commissioned by PLANT Chairman Gilbert Durandal as a high-performance general-purpose mobile suit incorporating the most advanced technology of its era, including systems banned under the Junius Treaty. Designed using combat data from Shinn Asuka and based on the ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam, it was built to handle any combat situation with a single versatile loadout. Its armament includes beam boomerangs that double as sabers, palm beam cannons, a large beam sword, a long-range beam cannon, and beam rifle. The suit also features the Voiture Lumiere propulsion system in its wings, producing the distinctive "Wings of Light" effect during high-speed maneuvers, and uses Mirage Colloid technology to create illusionary copies of itself to confuse enemies. Sculpted by Chemical Attack, this Metal Build figure stands approximately 180mm tall and is constructed from ABS, die cast, and PVC materials. It was released at a price of 17,593 JPY.
