About this figure

The RX-77-2 Guncannon joins Bandai's Gundam Collection as a 1/400 scale figure, representing one of the iconic mobile suits from the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. Developed by the Earth Federation Forces as part of Operation V alongside the RX-78 Gundam and RX-75 Guntank, the Guncannon served as a medium-range support unit. Its design prioritized durability over mobility, featuring armor tough enough to survive a direct hit from a MS-09R Rick Dom's giant bazooka. The suit's primary armament consisted of a pair of explosive shell-firing cannons mounted on its shoulders, selected for their reliability over beam weapons, and could optionally be swapped for spray missile launchers. It also utilized the same Core Block System as its sister units. This 1/400 scale collectible from Bandai captures the Guncannon's distinctive red and white color scheme and robust silhouette in a compact form factor.
