Banpresto presents the GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 as part of their Pareidolia Figure lineup. Standing approximately 180mm tall, this figure is constructed from ABS and PVC materials. The GN-001RE Gundam Exia Repair is a hastily repaired version of the GN-001 Gundam Exia, featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 season 2. The original Exia was badly damaged in the final battle with the United Nations Forces in A.D. 2308. Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei, who had not returned to Celestial Being since that battle, repaired the unit himself. The Exia's decapitated head was reattached, a cloak conceals its missing left arm, and junk parts were used throughout, most notably a mono-eye camera from a Tieren series unit replacing the lost right camera eye. Despite the incomplete repairs, the Exia Repair returned to battle. The Pareidolia Figure line from Banpresto captures this battle-damaged mobile suit with its distinctive patchwork appearance, making it a unique addition for Gundam 00 collectors who appreciate the story of perseverance behind the design.
