This sofubi figure features Orange Ant, a monster from the classic tokusatsu series Android Kikaider (Jinzou Ningen Kikaider), produced by Medicom Toy as part of their Toei Retro Sofubi Collection. Orange Ant specifically appears in episode 3, titled "The Accursed Orange Ant's Deadly Challenge." The series, created by Shotaro Ishinomori, follows the android Kikaider as he battles against the evil organization DARK and its monstrous creations. The Toei Retro Sofubi Collection celebrates classic Toei tokusatsu characters with vintage-style sofubi figures. This Orange Ant figure stands approximately 240mm tall and includes a mini sofubi companion at 100mm. The mold was produced by Kumanomori Megumi, and the figure weighs approximately 600g. It was shipped in late February 2022 as a limited-time offering, with orders closing in December 2021. This new color version brings a fresh take on the classic monster design.
