Animegami Studios presents Kawakami Tomie from Itou Junji: Collection as a 1/6 scale Premium Line resin statue in an Exclusive Version. Standing approximately 115mm tall with dimensions of 11.5cm width and 21cm depth, this figure is crafted from resin with parts in PVC and ABS. The sculpt was created by Sergio Mengual and Leo Dolon Bustamonte, with paint work by Armando Aguiar, under creative direction by Ricardo Clatworthy. Tomie is the iconic character from Junji Ito's horror manga, a mysterious and beautiful young woman whose presence drives those around her to obsession, madness, and murder. This particular figure depicts a scene from the Junji Ito Collection anime adaptation, where the artist Mitsuo Mori becomes obsessed with painting Tomie. After she tells him that every man who has loved her has tried to kill her, Mori paints her with a hideous demonic face merged with her own, then flies into a homicidal rage and chops her into pieces. The base of the figure reflects the severed body parts, and Tomie is depicted being reborn from them. The Exclusive Version includes a head variant showcasing her demonic face. This limited edition statue stands 33.5cm tall and is an extremely rare release with very limited pieces worldwide.
