Animegami Studios presents Kawakami Tomie from the Junji Ito Collection as a 1/6 scale resin statue in the Deluxe Edition. This premium figure is the first release in Animegami's Junji Ito Collection series, offered in a Manga Edition format with very limited pieces worldwide. Tomie is the titular character of Junji Ito's horror manga, a mysterious and immortal woman whose beauty drives men to murderous obsession. This figure depicts a specific scene involving the artist Mitsuo Mori, who becomes obsessed with painting Tomie. When she tells him that every man who has ever loved her tried to kill her, Mori eventually paints her with a hideous demonic face merged with her own. After Tomie sneers at the painting, Mori flies into a homicidal rage and dismembers her. The figure's base reflects the severed body parts, while Tomie is shown reborn from them. The Deluxe Edition includes a head variant showcasing her demonic face. Standing approximately 33.5cm tall with a width of 11.5cm and depth of 21cm, this figure is sculpted in resin with PVC and ABS components. The sculpt was created by Sergio Mengual and Leo Dolon Bustamonte, with paint work by Armando Aguiar and creative direction by Ricardo Clatworthy.
