Sum-Art presents Naib Subedar from the asymmetrical horror game Identity V as part of the IdentityV x Kamata Mitsuji crossover collaboration. This Houhei version figure represents the Mercenary character reimagined through the crossover event's unique aesthetic. Identity V is a multiplayer survival horror game where players take on roles as either survivors or hunters in tense matches. Naib Subedar, known in-game as the Mercenary, is a survivor character who uses his military background to protect teammates and evade the hunter. The Kamata Mitsuji crossover event introduced special themed costumes for multiple characters, with the Mercenary receiving the Cannoneer costume during Part 2 of the collaboration, which ran from April 27 to May 17, 2023. During the crossover event, players could participate in quests such as the "A Brave Adventure in the Mist" to earn rewards including clues, spy glasses, and costume remnants. A physical figurine of the Cannoneer design was also produced, with preorders beginning on April 27, 2023.
