Xebec Toys presents Kenshirou from Fist of the North Star as part of the 199X Violence Action Figures line. Originally released in 1998, this PVC figure stands approximately 16-17cm tall and was sculpted by Katsumi Urabe. Kenshirou is the 64th successor of the Hokuto Shinken martial art, a devastating fighting style that targets an opponent's vital pressure points to destroy them from within. Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland ravaged by nuclear war, Fist of the North Star follows Kenshirou as he wanders the lawless desert seeking justice and protecting the innocent from brutal warlords and bandits. His journey is deeply personal, driven by the betrayal of his former friend Shin, who kidnapped his beloved Yuria, and by his rivalry with his adoptive brothers Raoh, Toki, and Jagi, each of whom chose a different path after their master rejected them as successors. The 199X line by Kaiyodo and Xebec was one of the longest and most expansive figure series for the franchise, and this Kenshirou figure represents an early, detailed sculpt of the iconic character at an accessible price point of ¥2,200.
