Amiba is a self-proclaimed genius with an extreme superiority complex who originally practiced Nanto Seiken. Believing he could master any martial art in record time, he attempted to learn Hokuto Shinken and nearly killed an elderly man during his self-experimentation. When the legendary healer Toki intervened and slapped him aside, Amiba was left humiliated and swore revenge. After Toki was imprisoned in Cassandra by Raoh, Amiba impersonated Toki by rearranging his appearance, even replicating the scar on his back. Under this disguise, he gathered martial artists and villagers for cruel "new vital point tests," reporting his findings to Raoh. He initially fooled Kenshiro but was ultimately exposed as a fraud by Rei, who had trained alongside him during their Nanto Seiken days.
