Good Smile Arts Shanghai presents Hijikata Toushirou from Gintama as a Nendoroid figure, produced in collaboration with Good Smile Company. This chibi figure captures the Shinsengumi's vice-commander in his iconic appearance. Gintama is a comedy series set in an alternate Edo-period Japan that has been conquered by aliens known as Amanto. Hijikata Toushirou serves as the Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi, a police force in this bizarre version of feudal Japan. Known as the "Demonic Vice-Commander," Hijikata is famous for his strict adherence to the code of the samurai and his notorious addiction to mayonnaise, which he puts on virtually everything he eats. His deadpan personality and comedic interactions with the series' protagonist Gintoki Sakata make him one of the most beloved characters in the series. This Nendoroid stands approximately 100mm tall and is scheduled for release in May 2025.
