FuRyu's Special Figure release features Ryuuguu Rena from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou, the 2020 sequel series to the acclaimed horror franchise. Standing at approximately 170mm tall, the figure is constructed from ABS and PVC materials. Rena is one of the central characters in the Higurashi series, serving as protagonist of the Tsumihoroboshi-hen arc and antagonist in the Tsukiotoshi-hen, Onikakushi-hen, and Onidama-hen storylines. She is known for her obsession with all things cute, often entering what others call her "Cute Mode" where she attempts to take appealing items home with her catchphrase "Hauu~! I want to take it home~!" She spends considerable time treasure hunting at the town's trash heap, where she maintains a secret base inside an old van. Despite her cheerful exterior, Mion warns that Rena can become frightening when angered, as Keiichi discovers in the infamous scene where she screams "Usoda!" — "Lie!" Born as Reina in Hinamizawa, she moved to Ibaraki with her fashion designer parents before returning, wielding a nata cleaver as her signature weapon. The figure captures Rena from the Gou anime adaptation, which reintroduced the series to a new generation of viewers.
