Kotobukiya and Movic collaborated on this 1/10 scale Gassen version figure of Hijikata Toshizou from Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan. Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan is an otome game and anime series set in late Edo period Japan, following the Shinsengumi special police force. Hijikata Toshizou serves as the fierce Demon Vice-Commander, a strict disciplinarian whom everyone respects and fears. Despite being subordinate to Kondou Isami, Hijikata makes most of the Shinsengumi's decisions and treats all members as true warriors regardless of their background. His goal is to elevate Kondou to the rank of General despite neither being born into samurai families. Based on the historical Hijikata Toshizou, the character is the main male protagonist and Chizuru Yukimura's canon love interest. The Gassen version depicts him in an action-oriented battle pose befitting his warrior nature. The figure stands at 170mm in 1/10 scale, capturing Hijikata in his traditional blue haori and hakama with katana and wakizashi at his side.
