Good Smile Company's figma Racing Miku 2012 ver. (SP-045) depicts Hatsune Miku in her specially designed racing queen costume from the Hatsune Miku GT Project. Sculpted by Masaki Asai of Max Factory, this non-scale posable figure was released as part of the Good Smile Racing line. The Hatsune Miku GT Project is a motorsport project launched in 2008 by Good Smile Racing with the concept of a racing team run by fans. The project participates in the SUPER GT GT300 class series, Japan's premier motorsport championship, featuring vehicles with Hatsune Miku racing designs. The project has achieved remarkable success, winning the series championship three times in 2011, 2014, and 2017. The 2012 Racing Miku design was created by illustrator Kuroboshi Kouhaku with direction by Shigeto Koyama. Standing approximately 125mm tall, the figma is made of ABS and PVC and includes a racing queen parasol and champagne bottle as accessories. The figure was distributed by Good Smile Racing as a personal sponsorship bonus.
