From the DefoReal Series by X-Plus and Plex comes this Technicolor version of Godzilla from the 1955 film Gojira no Gyakushuu (Godzilla Raids Again). The DefoReal line is known for combining a cute, super-deformed aesthetic with surprisingly realistic sculpted details, resulting in a uniquely stylized interpretation of classic kaiju designs in a palm-sized format. Godzilla Raids Again was the second film in the long-running Godzilla franchise, pitting the King of the Monsters against the first iteration of Anguirus in a destructive battle that ravaged the city of Osaka. The Technicolor version of this figure draws its color palette from the Japanese theatrical poster for the film, with highlights on the monster's body reflecting the red flames of Osaka burning during the climactic confrontation. This gives the figure a vivid, dramatic appearance that sets it apart from the standard monochrome general distribution version. The figure stands approximately 13cm tall and measures about 13cm in length, crafted from PVC as a fully painted, complete figure. This Technicolor version was released in January 2020 as a limited edition set, available through X-Plus' Shonen-Ric website and Toho's official Godzilla Store.
