X-Plus and PLEX Corporation present the Anguirus DefoReal Series figure in its Technicolor version, based on the 1955 Toho film Gojira no Gyakushuu (Godzilla Raids Again). This figure is part of the DefoReal line, which uniquely combines a cute super-deformed aesthetic with realistic monster detailing for an instantly recognizable collectible style. Godzilla Raids Again was the second film in the Godzilla franchise, introducing Anguirus as Godzilla's first-ever monster opponent. The two titans clash in a devastating battle that culminates in the destruction of Osaka. The Technicolor version of this figure set features paint applications inspired by the Japanese theatrical poster for the film, with fiery red and orange highlights reflecting the burning cityscape during the monsters' death match. The Anguirus figure stands approximately 11cm (4.3 inches) tall and 13cm (5.1 inches) in length. It is made of PVC and comes as a fully painted, complete figure. This Technicolor version was released in January 2020 as a limited edition exclusive through X-Plus's Shonen-Ric website and Toho's official Godzilla Store.
