Bandai's Movie Monster EX series brings King Ghidorah to collectors as part of their Godzilla figure lineup. This figure represents the iconic three-headed kaiju from "Gojira, Mothra, King Ghidorah Daikaijuu Soukougeki," one of Godzilla's most recognizable adversaries. The Movie Monster EX line launched on February 14, 2015, as the fourth series of 6-inch Godzilla figures by Bandai Japan. It brought American Bandai Creation figures to Japanese collectors for the first time, using the same molds and paint applications. The first wave included King Ghidorah 2001 alongside Godzilla 1968, Rainbow Mothra 1998, King Caesar 1974, and Mechagodzilla 1974, each priced at ¥1,600. This King Ghidorah figure reuses the sculpt from Bandai Creation's American Godzilla line, maintaining the same mold and paint scheme. As part of the Movie Monster EX series, it stands approximately 6 inches tall and is constructed from soft vinyl material.
