Mondo presents King Ghidorah in the Planet X Variant, a Timed Edition vinyl designer figure created in collaboration with Urban Aztec. This figure is sculpted by Darrel Raymundo, Matthew Black, Hector Arce, and Urban Aztec, and is constructed from PVC and roto soft vinyl materials. King Ghidorah is one of Godzilla's most iconic adversaries, a three-headed alien dragon who has menaced the King of Monsters across numerous Toho films since his debut in 1964's Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. The Planet X Variant draws its name from the alien world featured in 1965's Invasion of Astro-Monster, where the Xiliens offered King Ghidorah to humanity in a deceptive bargain. This figure serves as a follow-up to Urban Aztec's previously released Godzilla vinyl figure, expanding their kaiju collection. As a Timed Edition release through Mondo, the figure was available for a limited purchase window. The collaboration between Mondo and Urban Aztec brings a distinctive artistic interpretation to the classic kaiju, blending designer vinyl aesthetics with the imposing design of Toho's legendary three-headed monster.
