The 1954 original Godzilla film introduced the world to a prehistoric creature awakened and mutated by nuclear testing, which then devastates Tokyo in a powerful allegory for nuclear destruction. This figure specifically recreates the iconic scene of Godzilla appearing at the National Diet Building, one of the most memorable moments from the debut film that launched the longest-running film franchise in cinema history. Renowned Godzilla sculptor Yuji Sakai handled both the prototype creation and paintwork for this piece, as part of his Exquisite Modeling Collection.
