From the popular series Gintama comes Hijikata Toushirou in a Yukata version, released as part of the Ichiban Kuji Gintama ~Natsumatsuri Dayo! Shinsengumi Tokubetsu Keikaichuu~ lottery by Banpresto. The figure stands approximately 180mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC. Hijikata Toushirou is the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi in Gintama, a comedic sci-fi historical series set in an alternate Edo-period Japan where aliens have invaded Earth. Known for his strict adherence to the Shinsengumi code and his chain-smoking habit, Hijikata is also famously obsessed with mayonnaise, slathering it on virtually everything he eats. Despite his fearsome reputation as the demonic vice-commander, he is a deeply loyal and complex character whose dynamic with commander Kondo Isao and rival Gintoki Sakata provides much of the series' humor and heart.
