SEGA's LPM Figure line presents Asuna from Gekijouban Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale in a premium prize figure format. This figure captures the character as she appears in the theatrical film continuation of the popular Sword Art Online franchise. Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is a feature film set after the events of the anime's second season. The story follows Kirito, Asuna, and their friends as they face a new threat in an augmented reality game called Ordinal Scale. Asuna Yuuki is one of the central characters of the series, a skilled swordswoman who survived the death game of SAO alongside Kirito. Known by her in-game nickname "The Flash" for her speed, she is a founding member of the Knights of the Blood guild and Kirito's romantic partner. In the film, she and her companions confront a new AR technology that harbors dark secrets connected to their past traumas. The figure stands approximately 220mm, or about 7.8 inches, tall and is made from PVC. Sculpting was handled by Chizuru and Maimocchi of Tsuru no Yakata. It was released on January 27, 2017 as a prize figure distributed through SEGA's lottery systems.
