Kotobukiya's ARTFX Final Fantasy X Monster Collection number 1 features the aeon Bahamut. Standing at approximately 205mm tall, this PVC figure was sculpted by Nomura Tetsuya and Fujioka Yukio, capturing one of the most iconic summons in the Final Fantasy franchise. In Final Fantasy X, Bahamut is one of the most powerful aeons that summoner Yuna can acquire on her pilgrimage to defeat Sin. The game is set in the world of Spira, where the teachings of Yevon govern society and summoners travel to Zanarkand to obtain the Final Aeon. Bahamut serves as a recurring presence throughout the game, appearing in key story moments and offering some of the most devastating attacks available to the player. The fayth for Bahamut resides in the temple of Bevelle, and the aeon plays a significant role in the game's deeper lore surrounding the nature of summoning and the cycle of Sin. The Final Fantasy Monster Collection line was released in Japan in 2002, featuring figures of summons and monsters from the series. Figures required minor assembly and were packaged in blister boxes. Bahamut retailed at 6,800 JPY as the inaugural entry in the FFX subset.
