Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line presents Red XIII from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. As part of the improved Kai label introduced in 2009, this figure benefits from enhanced articulation, additional accessories, and a slightly larger scale compared to the original Play Arts releases. Red XIII, whose real name is Nanaki, is a intelligent lion-like beast from Cosmo Canyon who was a member of Cloud Strife's party in the original Final Fantasy VII. In Advent Children, set two years after the defeat of Sephiroth and the Meteor crisis, Red XIII appears alongside his companions as they face the threat of the Remnants of Sephiroth and the resurgence of Geostigma. The character is one of the last of his kind, carrying the legacy of his tribe and the wisdom of his elder Bugenhagen. Standing at approximately 230mm tall, the figure is made from ABS and PVC. The Play Arts Kai line features an average of 20 articulation points, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses.
