The Evangelion Provisional Unit-05 is a unique Evangelion unit introduced in the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, piloted by Mari Makinami Illustrious. Unlike the humanoid Units 00 through 03, Unit-05 features a distinctly non-humanoid design with completely mechanical limbs. Its left arm is a claw while the right mounts a fixed spear that also conceals a claw.
