Prime 1 Studio presents Evangelion Production Model-02 as part of its Ultimate Diorama Masterline, catalogued as UDMEVA-07DX in the DX Version. This imposing statue stands approximately 390mm tall and is crafted from polystone with integrated LED features, representing one of the most ambitious Evangelion collectibles ever produced. Evangelion Shin Gekijouban, the Rebuild of Evangelion film series directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Studio khara, reimagines the landmark mecha franchise with updated animation and a divergent narrative. Evangelion Unit-02 is the production model Evangelion piloted by Asuka Langley Shikinami, distinguished by its red and orange color scheme and its aggressive combat style. Unlike Unit-01, which often operates on berserker instinct, Unit-02 is a purpose-built war machine. In the Rebuild films, Unit-02 undergoes significant upgrades and demonstrates new capabilities, including the deployment of thunder spears and jet-assisted mobility. The concept design for this statue was created by Josh Nizzi, bringing a fresh artistic interpretation to the iconic mecha. The DX Bonus Version is limited to an edition size of 300 pieces and includes an array of swappable parts: a horned swappable head, two pairs of swappable shoulders (jetpack and pylon configurations), swappable right arms for thunder spear deployment, swappable left arms and hands for the palette rifle and progressive knife, and a bonus hornless head. LED light-up features illuminate the eyes, chest, and jet nozzles. The statue weighs approximately 17.3 kg and is expected to ship between October 2026 and January 2027.
